Terms of Service

Effective date: June 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Picsew, a mobile application available on the App Store. By downloading, accessing, or using Picsew, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Picsew.

These Terms apply to your use of Picsew. App Store purchases, subscriptions where offered, cancellations, refunds, receipts, invoices, taxes, payment methods, and related billing matters are handled separately by Apple under Apple's own terms and processes.

License

Subject to these Terms and applicable App Store rules, Picsew grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Picsew on devices that you own or control, or as otherwise permitted by Apple's usage rules.

Picsew is licensed, not sold. Picsew and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the app, software, design, trademarks, documentation, and related materials, except for the limited rights expressly granted to you in these Terms.

Use of Picsew

Picsew is an image stitching and editing tool. It helps you stitch screenshots and photos, create Scrollshots, edit images, export documents, and use related screenshot workflows. Picsew provides tools only; it is not a hosting, publishing, moderation, content distribution, legal compliance, archival, backup, evidence-preservation, or professional advice service.

You may use Picsew only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You are responsible for the images, recordings, documents, and other content you import, create, edit, export, publish, or share with Picsew.

You must not use Picsew to violate the rights of others, distribute unlawful or harmful content, interfere with the app or its services, bypass technical restrictions, misuse Picsew, or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or disrupt Picsew except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

User Content

You keep ownership of the content you use with Picsew. Picsew does not claim ownership over your screenshots, photos, screen recordings, exported images, PDFs, or other user-created content.

You are solely responsible for making sure that you have the right to import, use, edit, save, export, publish, and share any content you process with Picsew. This includes responsibility for copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, platform, workplace, school, and other legal obligations that may apply to your content.

Picsew does not review, monitor, approve, endorse, or control user-created content. Picsew's ability to process content locally on your device does not mean Picsew accepts responsibility for that content or for what you do with it. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Picsew is not responsible for user-created content or for claims, disputes, losses, or liabilities arising from content you import, create, edit, export, publish, or share using Picsew.

Picsew does not guarantee that imported content, edited content, stitched images, generated Scrollshots, exported files, PDFs, or other output will meet any particular legal, technical, evidentiary, archival, professional, accessibility, marketplace, platform, or publication requirement.

App Store and Purchases

Picsew is free to download and may offer paid products through Apple's App Store, including paid access tiers, subscriptions where offered, or other in-app purchase types. For purchases made through the App Store, the transaction is processed through Apple or the applicable Apple affiliate or payment entity, not directly by Picsew.

The purchase type, price, duration, renewal terms, cancellation options, and other transaction terms are the terms presented in the App Store listing, Apple's purchase sheet, Apple's subscription interface, or another applicable Apple purchase flow before purchase.

Apple is responsible for App Store payment processing, receipts, invoices or tax documents where available, refund request flows, cancellation flows, subscription renewal, payment-method management, and App Store billing support under Apple's own terms and policies. Picsew does not collect your App Store payment information, issue App Store invoices, control Apple refund decisions, or manage App Store billing except where Apple provides developer tools for limited support actions or where applicable law requires otherwise.

Picsew may receive transaction status, product identifiers, entitlement status, refund or revocation status, renewal or expiration status, and related information from Apple or StoreKit as needed to unlock, restore, verify, or manage paid access.

Picsew may offer paid access tiers such as Plus, Pro, or other tiers. A tier is an entitlement category: it provides access to the functions, capabilities, limits, services, or benefits assigned to that tier at the relevant time, subject to the purchase type and duration shown by Apple.

Picsew's paid tiers may evolve as the app, operating systems, App Store rules, third-party services, and user needs change. We may add, improve, modify, replace, rebalance, or retire features, workflows, export options, visual assets, integrations, compatibility support, usage limits, or other benefits within a tier for product, technical, legal, security, platform, business, or operational reasons.

Your purchase is for the paid tier or product presented at purchase. Unless the purchase terms expressly say otherwise, a paid purchase does not lock every individual feature into the same form or tier for all future versions of Picsew, and does not automatically include future tiers or features later assigned to another tier.

Paid access continues only while Picsew can verify an applicable entitlement through Apple, StoreKit, or our records, subject to the purchase terms shown by Apple, these Terms, applicable law, device compatibility, App Store availability, and platform requirements.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Privacy

Picsew's handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Picsew, you acknowledge that information may be processed as described there.

Third-Party Services

Picsew may rely on Apple services, Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, operating-system features, Share Sheet destinations, cloud services, and other third-party services for app analytics, crash diagnostics, app distribution, payment processing, purchase verification, device or platform features, export workflows, or related functionality. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Picsew does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, security, data handling, errors, outages, policy changes, pricing changes, or other acts or omissions except to the extent required by applicable law.

Availability and Changes

Picsew may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features, compatibility, pricing, availability, support, or third-party integrations at any time. Picsew may also update the app to maintain compatibility, security, legal compliance, App Store compliance, performance, or product quality.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on this page, unless a later date is stated. Your continued use of Picsew after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Disclaimer

Picsew is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Picsew disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, compatibility, and error-free operation.

Picsew does not warrant that the app will work with every device, operating system version, website, app, image, video, file, language, layout, platform restriction, or content type, or that stitching, recognition, editing, export, Scrollshot, PDF, or other results will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, legally sufficient, or suitable for any particular use.

You are responsible for keeping backups of important content. Picsew is not responsible for content loss caused by device failure, operating-system behavior, user action, third-party services, unsupported formats, unavailable permissions, storage limits, or other events outside Picsew's control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Picsew will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, content, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunities, or anticipated savings arising from or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on Picsew.

This limitation includes claims arising from user-created content, your use of Picsew's editing or stitching tools, purchase or entitlement issues handled through App Store systems, and any content you choose to export, publish, or share outside Picsew.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Picsew's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the app or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Picsew during the 12 months before the claim or USD 10.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Picsew harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from or related to your content, your use of Picsew, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

You may not use, export, re-export, or transfer Picsew except as permitted by applicable export control and sanctions laws. By using Picsew, you represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Termination

You may stop using Picsew at any time. Picsew may suspend or terminate access to features if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that may harm Picsew, other users, third-party services, or the integrity of the app.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, user responsibility, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and legal compliance provisions.

Governing Law

These Terms are interpreted under applicable law without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available where you live.

Questions

If you have questions about these Terms, use the support options provided in the app, on the App Store listing, or on the official Picsew website.
