Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 13, 2026

Picsew ("we", "us", or "our") provides the Picsew mobile application on the App Store. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Picsew and related support channels.

Picsew is an image stitching and editing tool designed to process your screenshots, photos, screen recordings, PDFs, exported images, and other user-created content on your device. In normal app use, Picsew does not require you to create an account and is not designed to upload copies of your user-created content to servers we operate. User content may leave your device when you choose to export it, share it, save it to another location, sync it, back it up, or use an Apple, system, or third-party feature that transfers it outside Picsew.

Picsew uses analytics and diagnostics providers to understand general app usage, page or screen statistics, reliability, and crash reports. Depending on where you live, some technical information processed by these providers, Apple, or related services may be considered personal information or personal data.

Information We Handle

User Content

Picsew may access or process the images, recordings, documents, and other files you choose to import or create in the app so that Picsew can provide editing, stitching, Scrollshot, export, and related features. This processing is intended to happen on your device.

We do not collect, store, review, moderate, or upload copies of your user-created content as part of Picsew's analytics or crash reporting. However, content may leave your device if you choose to export, share, save, print, sync, back up, or transfer it through iOS, iCloud, Photos, Files, AirDrop, a Share Sheet destination, another app, or another third-party service. Those services are governed by their own privacy practices.

Analytics and Diagnostic Information

Picsew may collect or process the following categories of information through analytics and diagnostics providers:

  • App usage events, such as page or screen views, app launches, interaction events, and feature usage statistics.
  • Crash reports, stack traces, diagnostic logs, and technical context generated when Picsew crashes, freezes, or encounters technical issues.
  • Technical information related to the app, device, operating system, app version, language or region settings, software development kits, and similar environment details needed for analytics and diagnostics.
  • Service-specific identifiers used to measure usage, group crashes, understand affected installations, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

These analytics and diagnostic tools are used for statistics and reliability, not for collecting your user-created content. Picsew does not attach screenshots, photos, screen recordings, PDFs, exported images, or other user-created content to analytics events or crash reports. Crash reports are technical records generated to help diagnose stability problems and may include limited technical context generated by the app or operating system.

App Store Purchase Information

If you make an in-app purchase, subscribe, restore a purchase, or use a paid tier, Apple processes the App Store transaction. Picsew may receive or process transaction and entitlement information made available by Apple or StoreKit, such as product identifiers, purchase status, entitlement status, renewal or expiration status, refund or revocation status, and related purchase-restoration information needed to unlock, restore, or manage paid access.

Picsew does not receive your full payment card number, Apple Account password, or complete App Store billing record from Apple. Receipts, invoices, tax documents, refunds, cancellations, and payment-method management are handled through Apple, subject to Apple's own terms and processes.

Support Information

If you contact Picsew for support, you may choose to provide contact information, order information, screenshots, diagnostic details, or other information relevant to your request. We use that information to respond to you, investigate the issue, and maintain support records.

How We Use Information

Picsew uses the information described in this Policy to:

  • Provide Picsew's local editing, stitching, Scrollshot, export, and related app features.
  • Unlock, restore, verify, and manage paid access based on App Store transaction status.
  • Understand general app usage and feature popularity.
  • Detect, investigate, and fix crashes, bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems.
  • Provide support, respond to requests, and maintain app security.
  • Comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, and protect Picsew, users, and the public from fraud, abuse, security threats, or technical harm.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your user-created content for advertising, analytics, or crash diagnostics.

Service Providers and Third Parties

Picsew uses the following categories of service providers and platform services:

  • Analytics and diagnostics providers for app analytics, usage statistics, reliability monitoring, crash reporting, and diagnostics.
  • Apple and App Store services for app distribution, in-app purchases, subscriptions where offered, purchase restoration, payment processing, refunds, receipts, invoices or tax documents where available, and related App Store account features.

These providers may process information on servers outside your country or region. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy and security practices. You can review Apple's Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/privacy/.

Picsew may update service providers over time. If a provider change materially changes the categories of information we process or the purposes for processing, we will update this Policy as appropriate. Picsew may also include workflows, links, export destinations, Share Sheet actions, or system integrations that connect to services not operated by Picsew. We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Picsew may share or disclose information:

  • With analytics and diagnostics providers, Apple, and other service providers needed to operate, analyze, secure, support, distribute, or manage paid access in Picsew.
  • When you choose to export, share, save, transfer, or otherwise send content or information to another app, platform, system feature, or third-party service.
  • When required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable government request.
  • When reasonably necessary to enforce our terms, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, protect security, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Picsew, users, or the public.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, but only for information covered by this Policy and subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis for processing, Picsew relies on one or more of the following bases: providing the app and paid access you request, our legitimate interests in app analytics, reliability, security, support, and product improvement, your consent where required, compliance with legal obligations, and protection of rights and safety.

Data Retention

User-created content processed locally by Picsew is not retained by Picsew on our servers as part of normal app use.

Analytics and diagnostic information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to the retention settings of our analytics and diagnostics providers and applicable legal requirements.

App Store transaction and entitlement information may be retained as needed to verify purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, provide support, comply with accounting or legal requirements, and maintain accurate entitlement records.

Support communications are retained as long as reasonably needed to respond to your request, maintain support records, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations.

Your Choices and Rights

Deleting Picsew from your device stops future collection from that device by the app. Deleting the app does not automatically delete information already processed by analytics and diagnostics providers, Apple, or other service providers under their retention policies.

Apple provides tools for managing App Store purchases, subscriptions where applicable, purchase history, refunds, and account settings through Apple services. Some analytics or diagnostic collection may also be affected by iOS privacy settings or controls provided by Apple, the relevant service provider, or the app where available.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent for certain personal information. Because Picsew does not require an account and does not maintain user-created content on servers we operate as part of normal app use, our ability to identify or act on a request may depend on the information you provide and the systems involved.

Children's Privacy

Picsew is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by Picsew. No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers

Information processed by Picsew, analytics and diagnostics providers, Apple, or other service providers may be transferred to and processed in countries or regions other than where you live. Those locations may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, unless a later date is stated. Please review this page periodically for updates.

Questions

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, use the support options provided in the app, on the App Store listing, or on the official Picsew website.
