Restore Purchases Failed – How to Fix¶
Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue. You might not need to try every step - your problem could be resolved at any point along the way.
- Ensure that your Purchase History includes the item you're trying to restore. Note that you're looking for an actual in-app purchase, not the free app download. If there is no record of the purchase, restoration is not possible.
- Confirm that Picsew has permission to access the network (for Chinese devices only).
- Check if in-app purchases are restricted on your device.
- Delete and reinstall Picsew.
- If you use multiple Apple IDs, make sure to re-download Picsew using the Apple ID that was used to purchase the paid items, then attempt to restore.
- Sign out of the App Store and sign in again.
- Try switching to a different network.
- Restart your device.
- Reset your device's network settings.
- If your device is jailbroken, please remove the jailbreak and try again.
If the issue persists, wait 24 hours and try again. You may also contact us - our contact information can be found in the app settings.
Early Supporters¶
If you’re an early supporter, you are entitled to Picsew Plus for free. Simply restore your purchase following the steps above, and we will automatically activate Picsew Plus for you.
Picsew Plus vs Picsew Pro Confusion¶
Some users who purchased Picsew Plus mistakenly believe they are Picsew Pro users, and repeatedly attempt to restore Picsew Pro, which leads to failure.
